Would it be as easy as making a batch file to just start plex and shoving the bat into the users startup folder? Am I overthinking this?Īnd last question is if I switch users from that account to my main account will that suspend plex or keep it from working? And msconfig the only plex service there is an update one. In task manager I can see plex on startup there but that affects it for all users at once. So far the only problem I've run into is having plex start on logging in for one user only. So what I want to do is have a new local account (win10) that basically only has plex start on logging in and then they can immediately go to watch stuff. And they don't know how to computer very well. They kinda want to start to watch more however my schedule of me being awake doesnt always line up with them. Guess I'm just saying, 1/2 a day later, I'm asking for help thanks. So I've had pms set up on my personal pc for a while for my parents to watch a movie on the TV. The only option I haven't done is when someone suggested manually downloading from here but I don't get that option with the 5 steps (unless I'm just having a blonde moment) I'm starting to regret tossing windows 7 on it and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have several laptops (this being the oldest) and I run them all as it saves me a lot of time. ![]() I Upgraded this to windows 7 and since, I can not for the life of me get CCC to work with the option tabs in it's entirety. ![]() It's an Acer Aspire 5535 with AMD Athlon x2 and a Radeon HD 3200 graphics card. So, I believe I have done my due diligence and read every possible aspect possible to comprehend what is going on with this old laptop. ![]()
